MAS - Spring is in the Air Tutorial

This tutorial is written PsP XI.

Needed:

* 1 large tube.
My tube is in the zip file - Put it in a folder of your choice.
* Font: Felix Titling - Put it in your Fonts Folder.
* My selections - Put these in your PsP XI Selections folder.
* A string - The string I used is in the zip - Put this in a folder of your choice.

Filters:

Penta.com - Dot & Cross - Put this in your Plug In folder.

* supplies zip

ATTENTION: if you use different tubes and colors always keep
in mind that you have to play more with the
blend modes and the layer opacity

PREPARATION:

Here's a screen of all the colors that I used, of course you are free to use other colors.
Pick 4 colors from your tube. You have a lot of possibilities with the colors in this
tutorial so have lots of fun.

1. Open a new image.

2. Flood fill the image with #feeca9 or a color of your own choice.
3. Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds with the following settings:

4. Now open the MAS-EngagementCalender2006-CopyrightMarjoleinBastinLarge tube.
5. Edit - Copy.
6. Edit - Paste as a new layer.
7. Adjust - Blur - Motion blur with these settings:

8. Effects - Texture Effects - Mosaic Antique with the following settings:

9. The opacity on the layer set to 50 and the blend mode on the layer set to Multiply.
10. Layers - New raster layer.
11. Selections - Load/ save selection - Selection load from disk, then load the MAS-SpringIsInTheAir
selection and use these settings:

12. Flood fill the selection with #feeca9 or color of your choice
13. Selections - Select none.
14. Effects - Plug Ins - Penta.com Dot & Cross with these settings:

15. Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.
16. Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance more.
17. Effects - Distortion effects - Wind with these settings:

18. Blend mode on the layer set to Overlay.
19. Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow with these settings:

20. Layers - New raster layer.
21. Selections - Load/ save selection - Selection load from disk, load the
MAS-SpringIsInTheAir-1 selection with the same settings.
22. Selections - Invert.
23. Flood fill the selection with #e5a671 or color of your choice.
24. Selections - Select none.
25. Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance more.
26. Opacity on the layer set to 40 and the Blend mode set to Screen.
27. Layers - Merge - Merge visible.
28. Layers - New raster layer.
29. Selections - Select all.
30. Selections - Modify - Contract with 40 pixels.
31. Flood fill the selection with #ab8a4f or the color of your choice.
32. Leave your selection intact and set the Blend mode to Screen.
33. Layers - New raster layer and flood fill with #e5a671 or color of your choice.
34. Selections - Modify - Contract by 10 pixels.
35. Hit delete on your keyboard.
36. Selections - Select none.
37. Effects - Plug Ins - Penta.com Dot & Cross with the same settings.
38. Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.
39. Opacity on the layer set to 40.
40. Again open the MAS-EngagementCalender2006-CopyrightMarjoleinBastinLarge tube and then
go to Image - Resize with the following settings:

41. Adjust - Sharpness - Unsharp mask with these settings:

41. Edit - Copy
42. Edit - Paste as a new layer
43. Effects - Image effects - Offset with these settings:

44. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow with these settings:

45. Layers - Merge - Merge visible.
46. Layers - New raster layer.
47. Selections - Load/ save selection - Selection load from disk, load the
MAS-SpringIsInTheAir - 2 selection with the same settings.
48. Flood fill the selection with #e5a671 or the color of your choice.
49. Lave your selection intact and then go to Selections - Modify - Contract by 2 pixels.
50. Now flood fill the selection with #fdfad3 or the color of your choice.
51. Selections - Select none.
52. Opacity on the layer set to 60.
53. Layers - Duplicate.
54. Image - Rotate - Free Rotate with these settings.

55. Effects - Image Effects - Offset with these settings:

56. Layers - Duplicate
57. Image - Rotate - Free Rotate with the same settings
58. Effects - Image Effects - Offset with these settings:

59. Layers - Merge - Merge visible.
60. Get your Text tool, for the color I choose #e5a671, and use these settings:

61. Now put your text or your name on the horizontal card (see screen)

62. Layers - Convert to raster layer.
63. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow with these settings:

64. Open the string_white_heatheranndesigns.psp
65. Go to Adjust - Hue & Saturation - Colorize and use the following settings:
ATTENTION: you have to play with the settings when you use different colors.

66. Edit - Copy.
67. Edit - Paste as a new layer.
68. Image - Rotate - Free rotate 90 Degrees to the right
69. Effects - Image Effects - Offset with these settings:

70. Image - Add borders - 2 pixels symmetric color #e5a671
71. Image - Add borders - 2 pixels symmetric color #fdfad3
72. Image - Add borders - 2 pixels symmetric color #e5a671
73. Image - Add borders - 10 pixels symmetric color #feeca9
74. Image - Add borders - 2 pixels symmetric color #e5a671
75. Image - Add borders - 2 pixels symmetric color #fdfad3
76. Image - Add borders - 2 pixels symmetric color #e5a671

We're finished...

You can add your name if you want to, but I am leaving that all up to you..
It's all about what you like best.....:)

Now add your watermark, maybe resize and don't forget to sharpen if you do and
then save as .jpg
